                  Overview of Physio-Neuro Therapy

Physio-Neuro Therapy is an approach that was pioneered by Learning Technics, Inc. The technique is similar to specific types of physical therapy. It involves a series of specialized physical and mental exercises that strengthen developmentally weak areas of the brain. These exercises are used until the weak circuits causing the learning disability are strengthened.

Physio-Neuro Therapy has been effective for:

   • Dyslexia
   • Hyperactivity
   • ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder)
   • Poor reading or comprehension
   • Difficulty remembering
   • Difficulty concentrating / short attention span
   • Difficulty following directions or sequencing information
   • Inability to complete tasks
   • Poor self-image
   • Directional Problems
   • Hearing Discrimination Problems

Access Learning is not a tutoring center. We do not teach math, reading, spelling or social studies. The Physio-Neuro Therapy Program we offer helps grow neural tissue which changes the way the brain learns, making school (and life) easier and more enjoyable.
The Physio-Neuro Therapy program can be completed in approximately 26 weeks and the affects will last a lifetime. During the program you will begin to see changes in the way you learn. These permanent results are unconditionally guaranteed!

Program Options

After a simple assessment, we can identify the basic perceptual and processing weaknesses that are the underlying causes of learning problems. Our specialized program targets these areas which can then be strengthened and ultimately fixed.

Following the initial evaluation, there are two options for the duration of the program:
1) Family Program
In this program the student and a family member meet with their Access Learning instructor once a week for an hour at our Center. The student then works at home with the assistance of the family member for 30 to 45 minutes each day on the Physio-Neuro techniques assigned for the week. The student and family member return each week for an hour of review and instruction.

2) Instructor Program
This three-day per week program is also available at the Access Learning Center. In this program the exercises, review and instruction are all completed with the Physio-Neuro therapist with very little instruction at the student's home. This plan works well for adults, difficult teens, and students who do not have a family member who is able to assist them with their weekly assignments.
